Joselito wurde von Candy H. gerettet.

Leider hat Joselito nicht noch mehr Zeit in seiner Familie gehabt, da er schwer krank wurde und die Medikamente nicht mehr halfen . Die Familie vermisst ihn sehr und hat auch ein paar Abschiedsworte verfasst. Auf Englisch, weil es leichter fiel:

I may have held your head while you fell asleep, yet my brain still refuses to accept with the fact that I will never do so again.


No matter where I look, there’s evidence of our fight for your health all around me - it’s in the needles and syringes I keep in my closet, in your food and your meds in the bathroom cabinet (because that’s where you felt most comfortable while eating), in your favourite treats in the kitchen and in the traces of your drool on the radiator (your favourite place until the very end).

But you - you’re nowhere in sight.


The time we had together was cut way too short, but I am all the more grateful for it. People say that you‘re lucky, because you got to know what a loving home felt like. They don’t know that it was you (and Bob) who turned this house into a home in the first place.

I am grateful that I got the chance to show you warmth, and even more grateful that you showed me strength in return (your own - and mine).


Not a day goes by where I don’t miss you. I miss your attitude, your love, your weirdness. I miss the way I could not sit down for five minutes without you crawling into my lap and I miss your endless trust in me. I miss you, lazily stretching out in the sun.


I miss you at my side.

Joselito stammt von einer der betreuten Kolonien. Die Tierschützer hatten sich schon Sorgen um ihn gemacht, da er nicht mehr an der Futterstelle erschien. Doch nach drei Tagen kam er wieder, humpelnd und mit einer Wunde am Vorderbein. Er wurde sofort in die Tierklinik gebracht und zum Glück war nichts gebrochen. Wahrscheinlich war es eine Bisswunde, die sich auch schon entzündet hatte. Die Medikamente und Antibiotika haben aber gut angeschlagen und Joselito geht es besser.
Wie man auf einem der Fotos sehen kann, hatte Joselito eine Verletzung am inneren Augenlid, aber das bereitet ihm keinerlei Probleme und bedarf auch keiner Behandlung.
Joselito ist freundlich und aufgeschlossen Menschen gegenüber und ist jetzt bereit für ein liebes Zuhause.

Update 15.05.2020
Joselito hat tolle Fortschritte gemacht, er frisst mit großem Appetit und hat ordentlich an Gewicht zugelegt. Er ist ein sehr hübsches und fröhliches Kerlchen.
Doch leider gibt es auch schlechte Nachrichten, Joselito wurde positiv auf FIV getestet. In Kürze wird in die Gruppe zu den anderen positiv getesteten Katzen umziehen.
